Beacon and Eggs (Anawangin/ Capones/ Nagsasa Expedition)

Travelled up north with those I considered nerds.  [We] Consumed two days and a night at Anawangin wasting nothing but energy.  We restored ourselves with canned foods and not so fortunate sand-mixed squids.  Trekked and stayed at the beacon for a while to overlook the beauty that kneels before us and praised the light that glimmers through the clouds.  We pooled our strength after draining our intellects and camped the night away with bonfire, alcohol, and petty stories; with petty, I am being sarcastic.  Nonetheless, we dreamt the hours lying inches from the shore.

With them I survived the island; with them I survived for three years. With them, I feel secure, but things in general, either deform or deteriorate.   There are things that are not just meant.  Only one can understand amongst the vastness of comprehension.  As we part ways, I believe ‘all’ of us will be glorious in God’s due time and I mean it.
